How Pro billing works
In short
Pro costs $3.99 a month or $39 a year for one server. It adds backups, panic mode with automatic recovery after a nuke, message logs, the server changes log and a few advanced controls. The core protection is free and stays free.
What's free
Everything you need to protect a server is on the free plan: Anti-Nuke, Automod, Join Gate, Anti-Raid, Verification, quarantine, lockdown, security and moderator logs, and every moderation command.
Right-click actions, member reports and appeals are free too. So are the newer additions: the attack score, ping flood lockdown, scam link blocking, the ready-made word lists, staff tiers, alert roles, a channel for each kind of alert, and the Discord AutoMod page.
A free server can reach a security score of 100.

In short, free stops the attack. Pro helps you recover from it and see more of what happened.
Locked settings in the dashboard
On the free plan you can still see every Pro setting. Each one has a Pro label and can't be switched on.
Press a locked setting and a prompt opens. It names the setting, lists what Pro includes, shows the price and has the buttons to buy Pro for that server. Press Not now to close it. Nothing changes until you pay.

Paying yearly works out at about two months free compared with paying monthly.
How billing works
- Pro is per server. One subscription upgrades one server. If you run several, add Pro to each one you want it on.
- Launch offer. On the monthly plan, a server that has never had Pro gets 75% off its first 3 months: $1 a month, then $3.99 a month. The checkout shows both prices before you pay.
- It's tied to the server, not to you. Everyone who manages that server gets the Pro features there.
- Payment is handled by Stripe. Bastion never sees or stores your card number.
- It renews automatically each month or year until you cancel.
Upgrade a server
Open the server in the dashboard
Log in and choose the server you want to upgrade.
Press Upgrade to Pro
It's at the bottom of the server's menu and takes you straight to the checkout. Pressing any locked Pro setting and then Get Pro does the same. From the pricing page, or straight from here, you pick the server first, unless you only have one.
Pay
The checkout is one card: monthly or yearly, the price, and the card form, which is run by Stripe. When Pro is on, one button takes you back to the page you came from.
Switch things on
Pro features unlock within a minute. They're off until you turn them on, so start with a backup.
Cancel any time
You can cancel from your Billing page whenever you like: open the menu under your name, choose Billing, and press Cancel subscription next to the server. There's no notice period and nobody to phone. A subscription belongs to the person who pays for it, so only they can change or cancel it. Other admins see that Pro is on, without a billing link.
You're asked why you're leaving, and you can skip the question. Depending on the answer you may be offered a free month or a one-month pause. Saying no takes one press, and the cancel button is on every screen. A pause starts when the time you've paid for runs out: for one month nothing is charged and Pro is off, then both start again by themselves on the date shown. You can resume sooner from your Billing page.
Changed your mind after cancelling? Press Undo on your Billing page any time before the end date.
Your Billing page lists every Pro subscription you pay for, with its next charge, and has one link to Stripe for your payment method and invoices. It works even after Bastion has been removed from a server or you have left it.
When you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. After that the server goes back to the free plan and Pro features switch themselves off:
- Panic mode and raid panic turn off.
- Custom heat numbers are replaced by the Balanced level.
- Automatic backups stop.
- Message logs and the server changes log stop.
- Names containing blocked words switches off in the Join Gate. Your word list is kept.
- Kick people who do not verify switches off. Verification itself keeps working.
- The verification code goes back to the standard look: 5 characters, letters and numbers, with lines, in orange.
/backupand/lockdown rolesstop working, and so do Back up now, Restore and Lock staff powers in the dashboard. Your saved backups are kept, and you can still delete them.
All free protection keeps running exactly as before.
TipIf a card payment fails, Pro isn't cut off at once. It stays on while the payment is retried, so a declined card at the wrong moment doesn't leave you unprotected.
Move Pro to another server
A subscription belongs to one server, and there's no button to move it. If you close that server or want Pro somewhere else, email support@bastionbot.xyz from the address you paid with. Include the ID of the old server and the new one.
Do I need Pro to be safe?
No. The free plan stops nukes, raids and spam. Pro is for getting back to normal quickly afterwards.
I have three servers. Is that three subscriptions?
Only for the servers where you want Pro. Each subscription covers one server, and the others can stay on the free plan.
Who can pay for a server?
Anyone who can open its dashboard: the owner, or someone with Administrator or Manage Server. A server can only have one Pro subscription at a time.
I paid and nothing unlocked.
Refresh the dashboard. If it still shows Free after a few minutes, email support@bastionbot.xyz with the server ID.
I removed Bastion from the server. Am I still charged?
Yes, until you cancel. Removing the bot doesn't cancel the subscription. Log in to the dashboard and open Billing from the menu under your name. You can cancel there even though the server's own dashboard no longer opens.
Where do I see everything I'm paying for?
On your Billing page, in the menu under your name. It lists each server, whether it's monthly or yearly, and when it is next charged or ends.
