Hold and ask
In short
When Anti-Nuke quarantines a staff member, the alert has four buttons: release them, keep them held, kick or ban. Only the owner and trusted people can press them. The person stays quarantined until someone does.
What you see
When Anti-Nuke stops a person, it quarantines them and posts an alert in your security log. The owner also gets the same alert as a direct message.
The alert says what they did in plain words, such as "deleted 4 channels in 40 seconds", and lists the names of what was affected.
The four buttons
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| It was fine, release them | Gives their roles back. For the next 30 minutes their Anti-Nuke limits are 3 times higher, so they can finish a clean-up without being stopped again. |
| Keep them held | Leaves them quarantined and closes the question. Release them later with /quarantine remove. |
| Kick | Removes them from the server. If they rejoin they are still quarantined. |
| Ban | Bans them. |
Who can press them
- The server owner and trusted people. Bastion checks again every time a button is pressed.
- Never the person who was quarantined.
- Only once. After one person answers, the buttons stop working for everyone.
- For 24 hours. After that the person stays quarantined and you use the normal commands.
TipNot sure? Press nothing. They stay quarantined, which is the safe state, and you have a day to look into it.
The temporary raise
Sometimes the person really was tidying up: deleting old channels after an event, say. Releasing them would be pointless if the next delete quarantined them again. So for 30 minutes after a release, each of their limits is 3 times higher. Then it goes back to normal.
I don't see any buttons on an alert.
Buttons only appear when a person was quarantined. A bot is kicked instead, and if your punishment is kick or ban there is nothing left to decide.
A moderator pressed a button and nothing happened.
Only the owner and trusted people can answer. Everyone else is told so, privately.
The buttons say someone already dealt with it.
Another owner or trusted person answered first. The security log shows who and what they chose.
