FreeA Discord join gate that checks every account
Simple checks that run the moment someone joins. It can turn away brand new accounts, accounts with adverts in their name, and bots someone added without permission.
Stops: Throwaway accounts and bots nobody approved.
How it works

Someone joins
The checks run the moment an account or a bot arrives, before it can post anything.
- Step 2
Bastion checks it against your rules
Out of the box it removes bots added by someone who isn't the owner or a trusted person, and accounts with a server invite in their name.
- Step 3
It acts and writes it down
Each check has its own action: just tell me, timeout, kick or ban. People who are kicked or banned are told why, and your log channel gets an entry.
Numbers shown are the defaults on the Balanced level.
What you can change
You don't have to change anything. If you want to, here are the settings and what each one starts as.
Bots added without permission
Removes a bot if whoever added it isn't the owner or a trusted person.
Starts as: On, kick
Bots Discord has not verified
Removes unverified bots, unless the owner or a trusted person added them.
Starts as: On, kick
Names that advertise a server
Removes accounts with a Discord invite link in their name.
Starts as: On, kick
Brand new accounts
Removes accounts younger than the age you set. A number from 1 to 365, counted in minutes, hours or days.
Starts as: Off, 3 days
Accounts that look like throwaways
Flags accounts that show two or more signs together: under 7 days old, no picture, a random-looking name or no display name.

Accounts with no profile picture
Flags accounts that still have the default picture.

Names containing blocked words
Removes accounts whose name contains a word on your list. Up to 100 words, plus up to 100 pieces of text caught anywhere in a name. It can check again when a member changes their name. Pro.

Known raid accounts
Flags an account that two or more servers on the shared raid list removed in a raid in the last 30 days. Only checked if you join the list under Anti-Raid.

Let one person in
Staff can give one account a pass with /allow or a button on the log entry. It works once and lasts 24 hours.

Test mode
The Join Gate decides as normal and turns nobody away. It says what it would have done.

Tell people why they were removed
Sends a short message before a kick or ban, giving the general reason.
