A Discord logging bot that says who, what and why

Pick a channel and Bastion posts there every time it acts, with who, what and why. Moderator actions can go to a separate channel.

How it works

Step 1
Run /setup
Bastion creates a private channel called bastion-logs and starts posting there. Only administrators can see it until you add your moderator role.
Step 2
Or choose your own
Pick any channel under Security alerts in the dashboard. Pick a second one under Moderator actions if you want them apart.
Step 3
Bastion writes everything down
Every time it acts, and every time your staff use a command, an entry appears saying who, what and why. On Pro, pick a Server changes channel and it also records who changed channels, roles, members, invites and server settings, one plain sentence each.

Numbers shown are the defaults on the Balanced level.

You don't have to change anything. If you want to, here are the settings and what each one starts as.

Security alerts
What Bastion does on its own: anti-nuke, automod, join gate, raids, lockdowns and restores.
Starts as: bastion-logs, once you run /setup
Moderator actions
Cases your staff make with commands: warnings, timeouts, kicks, bans, purges and quarantines. Left empty, they go to the security channel.
Starts as: Not set
Roles to ping in an emergency
Up to 5 roles that Bastion pings for a nuke, a raid, panic mode or a ping flood. Without one, alerts are posted and nobody is notified.

A channel for each kind of alert
Anti-Nuke, Automod, Join Gate with Anti-Raid, and Verification alerts can each go to their own channel.

Edited and deleted messages
Posts deleted messages, edits with before and after, and a count for bulk deletes. The text is shown in the log post only and is never stored by Bastion. Pro.
Starts as: Not set
Server changes
Who created, edited or deleted channels and roles, who was kicked, banned or timed out, and changes to invites, webhooks, emoji and server settings. Threads and joins can be switched on too. Pro.

A channel for each kind of change
Send channel changes, role changes, member changes, invites, webhooks, joins and the rest to separate channels. Pro.
