FreeA Discord automod bot that leaves normal chat alone
Every message adds a little heat to the person who sent it, and heat cools off over a few seconds. Normal chatting never gets hot. Spamming, mass pings and invite links heat up fast and earn a timeout.

How it works
- Step 1
Every message adds heat
A message adds 12 heat to the person who sent it. Repeats, pings, capitals and attachments add more. Heat cools by 8 every second they're quiet.
- Step 2
At 100, Bastion steps in
It deletes the messages that caused it and times the member out for 5 minutes. An @everyone ping or a server invite gets there in one message. A scam link does too, and by default that one is a ban.
- Step 3
Repeat offenders wait longer
Each timeout is a strike. From strike 3 the timeout is 1 hour, and it doubles each time after that.
Numbers shown are the defaults on the Balanced level.
What you can change
You don't have to change anything. If you want to, here are the settings and what each one starts as.
Sensitivity
Relaxed, Balanced or Strict. Sets how fast heat builds and cools.

Filters
Switch each one on or off: fast messages, repeats, pings, @everyone, invites, capitals, emoji, files, walls of text, stickers, glitchy text, scam links, adult links, any link, blocked words, suspicious accounts and quiet channels.

Scam and phishing links
Fake Nitro gifts and look-alike Discord and Steam sites, checked against a public list of known scam sites.

What happens for the serious ones
A scam link, an invite, an @everyone ping, a blocked website, a blocked word and an adult link can each be a timeout, a kick or a ban.

Blocked words and websites
Up to 200 words and 200 sites of your own, plus up to 100 pieces of text that are caught anywhere inside a word.

Block slurs and Block swearing
Two ready-made word lists, so you don't have to type the words yourself.

Exceptions for one thing
Allow invites in a partners channel, links for one role, or fast chat in a counting channel, without switching automod off there. Scam links are never allowed.

Ping flood lockdown
Locks every channel when members flood pings, then unlocks again after 10 minutes.
Starts as: Off, 50 pings in 5 seconds
First timeout
The short timeout. 1 minute to 7 days.

Long timeout
The timeout once strikes run out. 1 minute to 28 days.

Strikes before the long timeout
Which strike starts the long timeout. 1 to 10.

Delete the spam
Remove the messages that caused the timeout.

Roles and channels automod ignores
Up to 25 roles and 50 channels. Staff with Manage Messages are always left alone.

The same message from many accounts
Deletes the copies when 3 different accounts post the same message with a link, invite or mention within a minute. Plain text takes 5 accounts.

Honeypot channel
A channel nobody should post in. An account that does is treated as hacked or a spam bot and removed.

What each filter does
Each filter can only log, warn, time out, kick or ban.

Test mode
Automod decides as normal and does nothing. It says what it would have done and keeps a record for 30 days.

AI check for scam images
Shows the first picture a new member posts to an AI model and acts if it is a scam. Only the picture is sent. The picture is never kept, only a fingerprint so a known scam is caught at once. Only on installations set up for it. Pro.
