Free Premium: earn Pro by voting

How to earn Pro

1. 1

   Open Free Premium

Sign in to the dashboard, open the menu under your name and choose Free Premium.

2. 2

   Vote on top.gg

Press Vote on top.gg. It opens top.gg in a new tab. Vote there with the same Discord account you use for Bastion.

3. 3

   Come back in 12 hours

top.gg lets you vote once every 12 hours. The page shows how long is left.

4. 4

   Use your reward

At 30 votes you get one reward and the count starts again from 0. Pick a server and press Give 14 days of Pro to this server. Pro switches on within a few seconds.

Which servers can get a reward

• A server you own, or one where you have the Manage Server permission.
• Bastion must already be in the server.
• The server must not have a paid Pro subscription. If it does, pick another server or keep the reward for later.

The rules

• 30 votes earn one reward. One reward is 14 days of Pro for one server.
• One vote counts per person every 12 hours. A weekend vote counts as one vote here, even when top.gg counts it twice.
• You can hold up to 3 unused rewards. A reward earned while you already hold 3 is lost, so use one first. The page warns you when you have 3.
• If a server already has earned Pro time, a new reward is added to the end of it. One server can have up to 60 days of earned Pro ahead of it.
• Several people can give rewards to the same server. The time queues up. It never overlaps.
• Votes that don't reach 30 within 120 days expire. Unused rewards expire 120 days after your last vote.
• Votes you cast before you ever signed in to Bastion still count. They are waiting for you when you sign in with the same Discord account.

When the earned time ends

The server goes back to the free plan, the same way it does when a subscription ends. Pro features switch off, custom branding goes back to Bastion's own name and picture, and your settings and records are kept. Give the server another reward, or get Pro, and they come back.

Earned Pro time is not a subscription. Nothing is charged, there is nothing to cancel, and it does not use up the launch offer for that server. Wherever the dashboard shows the plan, a server on earned time says Pro until and the date, followed by (earned by voting).

What we keep

top.gg tells us the Discord ID of the account that voted, and nothing else about you. We keep that ID with the time of each vote for 120 days, and a running count for you until 120 days after your last vote. We send top.gg nothing: the vote button is a plain link. Your votes and rewards are in Download my data and are erased when you delete your account. Pro time you already gave a server stays until it ends, with your ID taken off it.
